The Choir welcomes anyone, regardless of orientation or church membership, and to all who support the mission of the choir, regardless of age, color, physical or mental ability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity for “All are alike unto God” (2 Nephi 26:22).

 

The purpose of our gathering is to perform sacred music that uplifts the soul, not to challenge current doctrines or policies of the LDS Church.

 

By creating a safe place based on these guidelines, we hope that members of every orientation within our church family will learn to foster love and Christ-like understanding, and together testify to the reality of Jesus Christ. 

 

The One Voice Choir is dedicated to musical excellence. We will achieve excellence by:

 

     -Cultivating skills in choral singing

 

     -Building bridges of tolerance and love among diverse communities through music

 

     -Providing spiritual support for its members, “comforting and edifying each other” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
